25 years of Experience

Welcome to my corner of the internet! I'm thrilled you've stopped by to learn a bit more about me and how I can support you on your journey towards healing and growth. As a therapist, I am passionate about fostering a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment.

I am a licensed therapist with 25 years of experience in the field of mental health. My journey into this profession was driven by a deep desire to help others navigate life's challenges. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and hold advanced training in Trans-Affirming Letter Writing. I am a dedicated partner, avid dog lover, and devoted lifelong learner continually engaging in ongoing education and training to ensure I provide the highest quality of care to my clients.

My therapeutic approach is tailored to meet your unique needs and goals, and I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), mindfulness-based techniques, and solution-focused therapy. An important part of healing from trauma is understanding the relationship between thoughts and emotions and exploring their impact on your life, beginning with your personal experience. Together, we will then explore your unique experiences, identify patterns, and develop practical strategies to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, you will receive guidance, support, and encouragement in a safe and affirming space every step of the way.

I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, though I focus primarily on trauma and working with individuals and their family systems within the LGBTQIA+ community. As a queer-identifying individual who has also navigated the shadows of trauma, I understand first-hand the unique challenges and distinctions that come with everyday life.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. If you're ready to take the next step towards healing and growth, I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation. Together, we can create positive change and cultivate a life filled with meaning, fulfillment, and joy.

I look forward to partnering with you on this journey.
